10A Dalmore, Isle Of Lewis

Our house is in the small village of Dalmore on the westside of Lewis. The house is minutes walk from the beautiful Dalmore beach and pets are welcome (MAX 2 pets - see house rules for more info). There are many areas of interest close by, including the Gearrannann Blackhouse village, the Dun Broch and we are about 15 minutes drive away from the famous Standing Stones. There is a local shop 5 minutes drive from the properly in Carloway. We are approx 30 minutes drive away from Stornoway.

"Sandig" Cosy 1 bedroom Log Cabin Dog Friendly

'Sandig' is a cosy 1 bedroom log cabin in a prime location to explore the historic attractions of the westside of Lewis. Located in close proximity to the Hebridean Way, Sandig is ideal as a base to visit such sites as the Callanish Stones, Garenin Blackhouses and Doune Carloway Broch. Carloway is also home to two stunning beaches, Dal Mor and Dal Beag, and is ideal for hillwalkers, cyclists, surfers, birdwatchers, or even those looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Heron's View

Heron's View is a lovely, light, airy, spacious and well presented glamping pod. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well kitted out kitchen, bathroom with full size shower to a comfortable sitting area. It has a double bed and the sofa converts to a double bed. It benefits from underfloor heating. It has an unique position with an uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding landscape. It takes its name from the two Heron's that nest on the island opposite the pod.

10 Dalmore, Isle Of Lewis

The house is in the small village of Dalmore, next to Carloway on the west side of lewis. The house is minutes away from the beautiful Dalmore beach. Doune Braes Hotel and restaurant is near by and Uig Sands Resturant is a 40 minute drive away but highly recommended. Places of interest such as Gearrannan Blackhouses and The Broch are a short drive. The Callanish Stones are a 20 minute drive away and Stornoway is a 35 minute drive. As pets are welcome we have a ***2 dog limit***

Bayview Croft House

Bayview Croft House was built in the 1930s and has remained in the same family ever since. It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.

Great for fishing from the loch and our seashore. A walk away from many gorgeous Hebridean beaches. A place to get away and unwind in the great outdoors or stay cosy in front of the log burner admiring the views with a good book. Very private!

Incredible picture windows with beach and sea views. Wood-burners to keep cosy on the colder nights. An ideal location for guests to explore the wilderness and experience the local heritage and culture. A very short walk to Uig Sands Restaurant for evening meals (closed over winter so check opening times ahead). Empty white sandy beaches for surfing, swimming, sunbathing or beach-combing.

Earshader Cottage has been recently refurbished sat on the edge of Loch Rog with its mussel farming enterprise. The property benefits from 360 degree uninterrupted views of the beautiful surrounding land and sea scape. Riverview is a self catering semi-detached cottage. Recently renovated to a high standard it offers light and bright accommodation comprising of an open plan kitchen, dining and living room. One double and one twin bedroom. Bathroom with separate shower cubicle. Spacious hallway with utility area. Host lives in adjoining property and will be available to greet on arrival.
