Welcome to Frog Stomp. It's a private guest house nestled in the woods. We affectionately call it Frog Stomp because our neighbors have a pond and during the summer there are hundreds of baby tadpoles that are make their way around the guesthouse. So if you are scared of little tiny frogs, this is not the place for you.🐸Frog Stomp is 1BR 1BA. It has a kitchen with fridge, stove, and kurieg coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower. You won't find anything with more character than the Cave and its surroundings. Nestled at the end of a slough on Smith Lake, its seclusion adds to the appeal. Explore the waterfalls, the lake, and the cave and its unique features. Retire to the rustic cabin with beautiful lake views, indoor fireplace, and natural accents. Note that there is a set of steps (~25) to get to the cave. Ask us about options to accommodate more guests than the 4 listed. Bookings offered only 3 months in advance

Are you looking for a different type of vacation experience besides the beach and the mountains? Why not vacation (or weekend getaway) on the river?!? Covered Bridge Properties proudly offers this 1 bedroom cabin. Relax on the porch, take a nap in the daybed swing; while the kids walk down the path to the river to fish! Bring your pole! There are several local restaurants with a 15 minute drive from the cabin, Top Hat BBQ & El Molino Mexican Restaurant. We are only 15 minutes from 165.

Magical Mountain Retreat with Vintage Charm

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

Smith Lake Cottage

Cozy fishing cabin on Smith Lake, Ryan's Creek. Short drive (one mile) to Smith Lake Park boat launch and some of the best fishing in the state. Located 7 minutes from the I-65 and 10 minutes from downtown Cullman with local shopping & dining. Private deck, firepit, access to swim pier, and kayaks available for use. Full kitchen, wifi, cable television. Close to community store and café. Boat friendly parking and outside electrical. Narrow bath entrance not wheelchair accessible.

The Cotton Pickin' Little Farmhouse

This little white farmhouse is full of country charm. Built in the 1920s and added onto numerous times, it was renovated for the final time in 2017. The house sits on the edge of our family farm beside a field. A barn/pond sit nearby. The house is 2br/2ba with a living room, kitchen with essentials, dining room and laundry. An air mattress is available upon request. There's a porch & back deck with swing, charcoal grill & small fire pit (must bring charcoal, lighter fluid, wood, etc).
