This single storey dog friendly cottage, comfortably sleeps 2 and has the use of a large garden. You’ll love Great Salkeld with its excellent village pub, ancient church and its many countryside walks. The village is set in the tranquil Eden Valley, close to the river Eden. Just 10 miles from the Lake District National Park, it makes an ideal base from which to explore this stunning region.

The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

The space The studio, is set within a newly converted barn, with its own entrance on the quiet edge of the Lake District, a few steps from a wood-fired sauna and a wild swimming pool. Modern, serene and quietly luxurious, perfect for a couple or up to three friends retreat, swapping notifications for birdsong, swimming at dawn, and deep sleep. A twin double bed, a sofa bed, a dining area, a deep bath in the en-suite bathroom, light cooking facilities., parking and easy access into the Lakes.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

With amazing views of the Yorkshire Dales this is a perfect retreat. We are a quiet community here surrounded by nature. A big comfy bed and candles enables you to relax with your loved one. Toilet, shower, kitchen area, settee and dining set. There is a balcony to sit outside with Hot tub. Toast, eggs, tea and coffee facilities are provided. A network of paths go through our working farm with river and forest and higher land to explore together. Perfect for walking and bird watching.

The Hide Lodge is a stylish space, designed with relaxing and retreating in mind. It is cosy and warm with underfloor heating. The open plan lounge and living area has full width bi-fold doors, which allows the space to be fully opened up to feel like part of the woodland beyond. The main bedroom boasts sliding french doors, also overlooking the woodland and stream, with a bath placed to enjoy this view. There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

2 miles from Kirby Stephen, annexe to the main house with own entrance and use of garden in front of the property, outdoor seating. Own front door and a small porch area . We welcome dogs to stay. Bathroom with step into the large shower and non slip mat available , a living and kitchen area with a comfy sofa, table and chairs and a cooker and hob ( no cooker extractor) microwave and fridge. A door leads off the living and kitchen area to a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe.

The hut is set in the middle of a family farm, forget about your busy lives and sit back and relax in this peaceful location ideal for a romantic retreat, with views up the Lorton valley ,cozy up into front of the wood burning stove and plan your adventure for the next day. The hut has no electricity but has solar lights, and a separate composting toilet, all bed linen is provide along with wood for the stove. Hot tub is £80 payable on arrival. Our luxury glamping pods are home from home with all cooking facilities, Fully fitted en suite, Double bed and sofa bed. We supply shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. We supply a continental breakfast. A full English breakfast could be supplied in you require. Free pick up after 5pm from Steel Rigg and free drop off before 9am. Dog friendly too. Small airfryer, small freezer and fridge.
