There are plenty of ways to keep the kids active inside and outside. This cabin includes a game table, sandbox, board/card games, art supplies, kayaks, row boat, and fishing poles. Make many memories together skipping rocks, catching fireflies, eating smores, taking in the beautiful views, and sharing laughs.

The Hogstad Homestead

The Hogstad Homestead has been in our family for nearly 70 years. The name is in honor of my great grandparents Ardell&Elaine Hogstad who bought the property in the early 1950's. They raised their two children there and also operated a farm for many years. Since then it has been home to many family members. In 2017 my husband & I had the opportunity to buy it. It was home to us for 5 amazing years where we created many happy memories. We are now ready to share this special property with others!

We are an hour from Wausau, Eau Claire, and Stevens Point. We are within a 1/2 hour of Marshfield Clinic Health System in Marshfield and Neillsville.

Our cabin is brand new build in Fall 2022. The point is entirely sand with great swimming, dock, hammock and firepit. Note NO WAKE time on lake from 5PM to 11AM. Fishing is good for northern, bass and pan fish. Friendly small lake with 2 great super clubs. Huge concrete patio with charcoal grill. Spectacular views from nearly every room inside the cabin. Loft has 2 queen beds with a ladder to access. 2 bedrooms are in basement.
