The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Whether you're looking for a single night or romantic getaway our beautiful Suite is a perfect solution. With over 860sq you will have plenty of room to stretch out & relax. A private entrance, large kept & shaded backyard & pool (Late May to Sept) allows you to enjoy outdoor living in the evenings, peaceful days & the best start with your morning coffee. *Hot tub currently out of action The suite is fully contained & private from the main house, with WiFi, TV, A/C, microwave, fridge & coffee.

The Nest

The Nest is an upstairs mini apartment in a building on a working bison ranch. The decor is birds, flowers, nature. The windows look out over the pastures. The bathroom features a shower and small clothes washer. The kitchenette area includes hot drink dispenser, microwave, toaster oven, and mini fridge. A cot and portable crib are available on request. Breakfast snacks and coffee are included in the room rate. Covid concerns: you will be the only occupants in the building overnight.

Quiet, safe community but also near to shopping and restaurants. Pet-free and no smoking, please. Longer stays can be arranged.

1 Bedroom Shed in Country Perfect for Crane Season

Crane season hot spot! The apartment is located inside a newly constructed shed. It has one bedroom, one bath (shower only, no tub), and a large living room and kitchen with all appliances (no dishwasher). A private pond is located in the pasture outside of the shed for quiet nights relaxing and fishing. It is the perfect setting for nature and bird watching! We do allow pets for a $25 fee. There is a very friendly farm dog on the property, so take note if this will be an issue for you.

Stay in Heart of Central City (3 Min Walk- Winery)

Stay in this historic carriage house apartment. Although beautifully decorated it does not pretend to be a five-star hotel. Our home is next to a train track. Welcome to rural Nebraska. Stroll down to Side Street Deli for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Enjoy the Dark Island Trail located 5 minutes away. Plan dinner at Prairie Creek Vineyard and Winery located across the street or at the authentic Mexican restaurant that is a 1 minute walk away.

The Carriage House

This Carriage house sits in the back yard of the main house on this property. This property dates back 120 + years and is in excellent condition. It is a little piece of Aurora's history located right off our town square. The house can sleep 4, however I would say best suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. There is not a door between the bedroom and living room.

The Red House

The Red House is located just past the business district on St. Paul’s main street, Howard Avenue. The Red House was recently renovated into a cozy little getaway that features historic details. The house is one story, so there are no stairs to climb, with easy access from the street or driveway.

Crane Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located just one mile south of I-80 this quaint studio cottage is perfect for a quiet, clean, and cozy stay. The Platte River is just a short walk from the cottage and it is situated on 10 acres- perfect for afternoon strolls and bird watching.
