Cozy Cottage on Peacock Farm

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis minutes away from Downtown Athens and Tennessee Wesleyan University. Attractions in Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers are less than an hour away. Only a little further to Dollywood and Gatlinburg for any tourist activity you can imagine. The cottage offers a kitchen, queen size bed, TV, DVD player, and washer/ dryer. *Currently working on getting wifi in the cabin and there are not any actual peacocks on the farm.

If you are looking for a get-away experience with a beautiful mountain backdrop, this is it. Nestled into 300+ private acres of cattle land and woods, our cabin overlooks rolling pastures and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Plenty of adventures are nearby too - world-class white-water rafting on the Ocoee River, or for a quieter adventure, try fly-fishing or tubing down the Hiwassee River. And as this is a working cattle farm, premium beef is usually available for purchase while you're here.

Creek House at Spring Creek Retreat

Spring Creek Retreat is more than a place to stay. It is a destination in its own right. Bordering the Cherokee National Forest, this mountain property is surrounded on three sides by a 50 feet wide whitewater creek and laced with walking trails. One of the highlights of the Creek House is the a large deck overlooking the water and shaded by an ancient beech tree. The house has a large kitchen, propane grill, air conditioning, fireplace, vaulted ceilings, internet and cable television.

Hiwassee Riverside Retreat

This riverside retreat with majestic mountain views is right on the Hiwasee River! The spacious home is primely located in Delano, TN, a mile from Gee Creek, five miles from Etowah, a half-hour from Cleveland and Ocoee River rafting, and less than an hour from Chattanooga. You can trout fish or raft/kayak from the backyard. You can easily visit the nearby campgrounds and park, Amish Market, and take in all that the Gee Creek area has to offer. Only a short walk down the pebbled path to the bathhouse, outdoor kitchen sink, & coffee bar. WIFI in the cabin & outside.
