Shrouded by silence, the trill of frogs will put you to sleep. Mornings start with sunrise over the Ochoccos and full views of the valley and the crooked river at its base. Take a hike at Smith Rock, visit the Painted Hills or find yourself headed to town (Bend: 45 min, Prineville: 10 min, Redmond: 25 min).

Tumalo, a short 10 minute drive west of Bend, is well known for its beauty to include easy access to hiking and biking trails. Your own private studio behind our home is in the quiet, quaint neighborhood on the bluff above the Old Mill District and Deschutes River. Short walk to restaurants, coffee, breweries and concerts. Close to the river for floating, SUP, River Trail. Easy access to Mt Bachelor, Cascade Lakes, and mountain fun. Private entrance and sliding doors out to a private patio for your morning coffee or end-of-day beverage. A fire pit is available to top off a cozy evening (see notes.)

The suite can sleep three people (three adults, or family with two kids). One queen bed, and a sleeper sofa. Located in SE Bend, 3 miles to downtown, and a short drive to hiking and mtn bike trails. Approximately 25 miles to Mt. Bachelor. Dog friendly..but please see our dog rules below.

Bachelor. Parking next to private entrance with keyless entry.
