It is a 1930's Sears Craftsman home located near downtown Greenup, about 1 mile from Rt 70. Greenup, known as the Village of the Porches between Interstate 70, IL RT 40 and IL RT 130, with over 1500 residents. The Lake House on Lake Sara puts you right at the edge of the lake — with four kayaks, a crackling fire pit, and a sunlit enclosed porch to come home to. The Lake House is located just a short walk to the Beach, Pinky’s , The Rusty Reel Bar (below Pinky’s) and The Marina. The beach offers a beautiful playground, pavilions, exercise equipment, pickleball courts and a frisbee golf course!

The Bin at No Bad Days farm

The Bin at No Bad Days farm is a newly constructed grain bin. As you walk in checkout the beautiful craftsmanship on the ceiling! There is a loft upstairs where you will find a king size bed. There is also an oversized chair that converts to a small bed as well. Main floor has a sofa sleeper for two. There is a kitchenette and full bath. We know you will enjoy the rustic look of this unique property. We are 5 minutes from Lithia Springs Marina and we have room to park a boat!

Free Continental breakfast. This 1880 Wooden Shoe Haus was built by owner & Wooden Shoe Maker Gerhard Deymann. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Come stay in our cabin and enjoy either fishing on Newton Lake or do some local hunting. We are only a couple miles from the main boat ramp and public hunting land. We are just starting out so we would love to know what you think. We still have a few things we are working on there but we hope we can make your stay as wonderful as possible.

A small quiet cottage off the beaten path, located only minutes from Newton Lake Fish and Wildlife Area. This is a great place for hunters, fishermen or just someone that wants to get away from the city. It has exactly what you need to enjoy a long weekend full of the great outdoors. As hosts we want our guest to enjoy their stay so we are available to help with anything.
