Our property provides an open floor plan, kitchen, washer & dryer. Embrace the great outdoors with a variety of activities to enjoy; bird watching, fishing, roasting marshmallows by the fire or snowmobiling in the winter. Unplug, unwind, and leave life's chaos behind in the peaceful setting of 3+ acres of natural prairie and wildlife. Inside there is modern decor and furnishings in an open concept. Main level master and loft bedroom boast comfortable queen beds. Fiber optic WIFI and 3 Smart TV's for when you need to connect. Enjoy playing Big Buck Hunter Safari edition set to free play. Relax in the large screen porch- great for dining and sunsets. Explore the outdoors with many amenities included - see below.

Cozy cabin Lake view Walk to beach & restaurants

Make some memories at this comfortable and family-friendly cottage. Across from AAA awarded Starbuck Beach, you’re also walking distance to restaurants, parks, and more! This cozy cottage has one private bedroom, one bath and shared sleeping in the living area. Enjoy the sunrise from the large front deck, spend the day at the beach, followed by dinner on the patio of one the great restaurants around the lake. And finally watch the sun set from the private backyard while sitting by a fire.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

The cabin is within a 5-minute walk to Barsness Park, the public beach, and the Lake Minnewaska boat landing. Close to downtown Glenwood to explore local shops, restaurants, breweries, and more. Please note: Cabin is not handicap accessible.
