Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Lots of birds can be seen from the house. The beach of Rågeleje and Vejby Strand is less than 2 km away and so is the famous nature reserve Heather Hill. Huset är på 40 kvadratmeter och har eget badrum och bastu. I rummet finns en sovalkov med två sängar och en soffa som fungerar som dubbelsäng. Pentry finns också för matlagning. But since it is private and there is no big parking lot you'll mostly have the beach to yourself!

Suited for a romantic getaway.

Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim.
