Welcome to the historical Perth area. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our rural setting, close to amenities but surrounded by the sounds of the countryside. Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. In the summer you can fish and swim right off the property. In the winter go from the fire pit to the sauna to the hot tub and if you’re really brave, cold plunge in the river! A true spa-like feel.

Located on the Big Rideau Lake. Right on the water. Relax on the dock with your morning coffee. This Log Home will give you and your family an experience of a life time. You can relax outside by the fire pit, sing songs, roast marshmallows. The Log Home has everything you need for your stay! There is so much to do with you and your loved ones. Take a kayak ride from out dock feel energized or use Rideau Retreat as a Bridal Suite.
