There is an additional cloakroom downstairs.Off road parking to side of property and seating area to the front looking over the tranquil valley.

Saunton Cottage - At One With Nature

Saunton Cottage is set in 16 acres of beautiful countryside with far reaching views across the valley looking over one of the 2 substantial lakes on the property. The words most often used by guests to describe the environment are serene and tranquil – a real escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. We have direct access to the renowned Tarka Trail via a private track in the grounds. You can walk to it without having to go on a road and then you are on a lovely 35 mile cycle/ footpath.

Private cabin sitting on an island over its own lake the ideal place to stay amongst nature and unwind in 10 acres. Furniture built from locally sourced trees for a beautifully crafted, rustic finish. Swing in a hammock or egg chair and indulge in a bit of star gazing. Watch the surrounding wildlife by the log burner or gather by the fire pit. Head ito Exmoor or Dartmoor & enjoy the many walks/bike rides; surf or explore the beaches. Help feed the animals and relax, recharge & re-connect!

The Tarka Suite

We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.
