Overlooking the breathtaking fells & situated in a small Hamlet between two towns, Marni's Cottage offers a calm space perfectly positioned for stunning walks immediately out through the front door or to be used as a base to deeper explore the Lake District, an area of outstanding beauty. To the rear of the cottage is the iconic 140 mile C2C cycle path, which can be walked & leads into the coastal town of Whitehaven. Ennerdale with its beautiful remote & deep glacial lake, is only 5 miles away.

Catbells is a lovely, modern, detached bungalow in a quiet area in St Bees with a garage, a glass walled terrace overlooking the golf course, sea & village and use of a large games room with table tennis & darts. It has a suntrap back garden and is only 10 minutes walk to the beach. It's ideal for a relaxing holiday. Little yurt

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Newly refurbished Grainger Cottage is a delightful traditional cottage set in the coastal village of St Bees, just a five minute walk to the sandy beach, local pubs, rail station .Dog friendly with a private garden at the rear. The ground floor consists: entrance hall; lounge with wood burning stove, & TV; well equipped kitchen; utility room with washing m/c and toilet. Upstairs: two bedrooms (1 kingsize & 1 double bed) bathroom with bath & separate shower. The cottage has gas central heating.

Unwind at this unspoiled quiet, peaceful location in the Lake District national park. Our 17th century farm workers cottage has been renovated to provide modern accommodation whilst keeping its traditional character. 20 mins walk from the village of Ennerdale Bridge, with 2 excellent pubs & a cafe. Many walks and cycle routes from the cottage doorstep. Situated very close to Ennerdale Water & the C2C and wainwright coast to coast routes. Easy access to western fells and solway coast.

Cosy Victorian cottage by the Cumbrian Coast

Refurbished Victorian cottage, a short walk from the beach, RSPB reserve on the cliff tops, Railway Station and Post Office with convenience store. Upstairs there are views of the sea, St Bees Head and the Isle of Man too on a clear day. The cottage was built in 1870 and we have furnished it in keeping with its period but the kitchen and bathroom have modern fittings. There is a garden area available to sit outside in summer. A wood-burning stove can be lit for cosy evenings on chillier days.

Traditionally built Log Cabin in a woodland setting, with exceptional views of the Western Fells. Relaxing and Cosy Atmosphere with a wood burning stove. The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom. ( I list this cabin for 2 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests if you contact me especially if you wanted to bring children for instance) Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with specific disabilities if a fire occurred.

Ideally located to explore the beautiful Lake District.

It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
