The charming one-bedroom retreat features blackout blinds for restful nights, plus a small sofa bed for extra guests. It is within easy reach of the A34 and M4, as well as the market towns of Newbury, Wantage and Hungerford. The nearest pubs are within easy walking / cycling distance. The River Kennet runs through the grounds leading to the canal and towpaths making visiting Hungerford and Newbury a pleasure by foot or bicycle. Fantastic rail routes from Newbury / only 50 minutes from London.

Lovely self-contained annex with outdoor space

A lovely self-contained annex furnished to a high standard in a quiet rural location on the Berkshire/Hampshire border, close to Newbury and Oxford and walking distance to Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). Fenced secluded garden area with seating and BBQ for outdoor dining. The Annex is completely separate from our house with its own entrance and there's an allocated parking space for one car. Well behaved dogs are always welcome and there are some lovely walks on our doorstep.
