Handcrafted cozy waterfront camp on Metcalf pond. Propane fireplace provides for welcome warmth after fall or winter adventures. Soak in the Hot tub on the deck. Custom spiral staircase accesses carpeted sleeping loft with books, TV, rocking chair. Enjoy the quiet off season brings to the area when most camps are shuttered for winter. Enjoy staying in and cooking and taking in the cozy atmosphere or make the approximately 20 minute drive to Smugglers Notch or enjoy other local attractions.

This guest house has been built and designed by my husband and I. It sits behind our house with private walking/biking trails right out your door. The design is modern with natural warm colors and tucked away in the trees. The loudest noise you will hear are the owls hooting and a faint distant train whistle two times a day. Our mission is to create an atmosphere of tranquility, calmness and peace. We offer mother nature outside your door with easy access to all the activities you desire.

Amazing mountain and lake views from every window. 50' of direct water access with small sandy beach, outdoor firepit and grill, and multiple hang out spots. The cottage is newly built and furnished, has an indoor fireplace, central AC, fully stocked kitchen, and screened in room overlooking the lake. There are 2 kayaks available for use. Be assured everything is provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

SUMMER SATURDAY-SATURDAY 7 NIGHT STAY REQUIRED - Private 40-acre retreat directly surrounded by the 23,100-acre Giant Mountain Wilderness Preserve. A babbling brook runs behind the cabin; the Owl's Head Lookout trailhead is steps away, with the High Peaks further down the path. Gather at the fire pit each night, wake to the sound of a mountain stream. Fully stocked: wood stove, screened porch, firewood, games, library, full kitchen. Guests call it "food for the soul."
