The cottage at Higher Blannicombe Farmhouse is an 18th Century property in an idyllic setting with far reaching views overlooking the Blannicombe Valley in an AONB, surrounded by Dairy Farmland. 1.5 miles from the centre of Honiton, in East Devon. The accommodation comprises a large sitting room, wood burning stove, king size bedroom with TV and large ensuite bathroom, with a bath and shower, private terrace overlooking the valley. No kitchen. A very charming 1 bedroom cottage, nestled in the heart of the Heddon Valley within Exmoor National Park, well equipped kitchen, Log-burning stove set in this tranquil location. with towering cliffs, coves and a wooded valley, from short trails around the Valley, to longer hikes along the North Devon coast, South West Costal Path. Excellent for bird watchers, the Valley is also home to a large variety of Butterfly species including one of the UK’s rarest butterflies, the High Brown Fritillary.

Hidden Cottage, Porlock

Located centrally in Porlock village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding back lanes. The cottage has an open plan sitting/dining room with log burner and French doors opening out onto its own private decking area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine. Porlock is the perfect base for exploring the unique Exmoor countryside, with the moor on its doorstep and the beach one mile away. Dogs are welcome at Hidden Cottage, we ask for a £10 fee, towels are provided.

The lane leads to a footpath that meanders up North Hill to meet the South-West coastal path. Quiet with fabulous views and a large garden. Ideal for families and walkers alike!

The cottage row is described in the Historic Exmoor record as 'having a pleasing sense of seclusion' and it certainly does, yet a short walk along the mediaeval Drang and you are in the heart of the wonderful Porlock Village.

Just a short drive to the lovely villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, & Porlock.
