The signature FloYo class consists of vinyasa yoga sequences where sun salutations on a SUP board flow into lengthening and strengthening poses, balance postures, breathing techniques, and even a little play time on the boards. You will leave the class feeling relaxed, refreshed and connected with both nature and with yourself.
We will meet on the waters edge at one of our areas gorgeous bay access points. We will go through a brief introduction to get you familiar with the waterways and with our equipment. Once you feel comfortable with the basics on how to paddle we will head out for our adventure. We typically paddle between 15-20 minutes until we get to a nice quiet cove. Here we will anchor our boards and begin to practice yoga on the boards. This will be a modified vinyasa yoga class and will also included a guided meditation.

After a 60 minute yoga class we will then casually paddle back to the launch location.

I have been teaching group fitness and yoga for over 12 years and in 2011 I began to combine my love for fitness with my love of being outdoors and on the water. This is when FloYo was born! Since 2011 I have trained over 200 yoga instructors to teach FloYo SUP yoga classes. I have also led over 20 SUP Yoga teacher trainings around the world and 15 international SUP yoga retreats to destinations such as Bali, Nicaragua, Uganda and more!

Depending on our starting location we will likely paddle along Assawoman Bay and the South Bethany Canals. Our exact location will depend on the water and weather conditions, we will go to a protected spot to avoid wind and strong currents!
