The back of the home offers private access to a huge nature preserve w/ wooded trails & streams. Inside, modern conveniences are offered including fully stocked kitchen, traditional sauna, AC, and fast wifi.

The house is tucked into the back of our 300-acre working dairy farm and offers breathtaking views of Mt. Mansfield. We are located in between two of Vermont's best ski resorts, Jay Peak and Smuggler Notch. Come for a winter adventure full of downhill skiing, riding or x-country touring. Stay for the local breweries, distilleries and restaurants. Or just relax at the farm, cozy up by the wood stove and cook up some delicious farm raised food for dinner. Well behaved dogs are welcome anytime!

We are 5 minutes from Smuggler's Notch Ski area. 4 VT ski areas are close; Stowe 40 minutes, Sugarbush 70 minutes, Jay Peak 52 minutes & Bolton Valley 50 minutes. The 1850 Barn on a River in Beautiful Vermont.

This barn was built in 1850 and converted into apartments in 1985. This unit is large, about 1800sf, and is in one half of the barn on the 2nd and 3rd floors (the other two apartments are on the other side. There's also plenty of sound proofing throughout). Nice deck overlooking the Lamoille River with river access for fishing or snow tubing and 15 minutes from Smugglers Notch ski resort. 45 minutes from Burlington, 40 minutes from the Canadian border. It’s also on the VAST trail.
