Te Anau is an ideal stop over to experience Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound, and all Fiordland has to offer. Our place is perfect for small groups, couples, and families. You can enjoy the house including kayaks and pool table and free wifi. We are Dairy farmers who love to relax in Te Anau

Direct views of Roy’s Peak, Black Peak and Mt Iron from the living room windows. Come and enjoy this unique experience like no other in the area. Not suitable for parties. Across the road from the lake this 3 bedroom home built in 1969 is still owned by the same family. Newly renovated are the 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets and laundry with new washer and dryer. Elevator for easy access to each level with your luggage and shopping. Upstairs is a fantastic view with large opening sliding doors on to the deck or conservatory if the day is cooler. Fully equipped kitchen, yet to be renovated but very workable. Walk to shops, restaurants and parks within minutes.

Black's Hut - Lakefront Cottage

Black's Hut sits on the shores of Lake Te Anau with expansive uninterrupted views of Fiordland. Built in 2022 with quality fixtures and furnishings, entertainment system and hot tub. Excellent unlimited wifi. Black's Hut has been specifically set up to accommodate adults with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Extremely private with extensive plantings. Bike track and reserve between the cottage and lake. Just a 15 minute walk along the lakefront to shops and cafes.

Disconnect to reconnect in this ADNZ-awarded, uncertified passive cabin on 10 acres of regenerative land (spray free) with fruit and nut trees, swans and birdlife, a running glacial creek and private lake, magnificent mountains and dark sky stargazing. Located 7 minutes drive out of Glenorchy on the edge of the Rees Valley. We face towards Te Wähipounamu, an UNESCO South West Aotearoa New Zealand World Heritage area. Our cabin is 20 minutes drive from the Routeburn Track.
