Wild strawberry Shepard’s Hut with Hot Tub

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

Situated along the Bogland trails, why not enjoy a day admiring the views before returning to take a dip in the tub. Family home in the heart of Roscommon town. Hanons hotel is round the corner for meals/drinks. Roscommon town is an easy walk of 1.5k. Roscommon Community Hospital is directly opposite the property. Toys and swings are available for children to play with and a sheltered shed with a climbing wall/ Table Tennis in case of rain. The house has a heat recovery ventilation system, solar panels, solar heated hot water, Infrared Sauna and Electric Vehicle Charger. Excellent WiFi.

Positioned just a stone throw from Roscommon Castle and just a 5 minute walk into vibrant town centre. It is also less than a 5 minute drive to the train station. Our quaint retreat is also right beside the Omniplex cinema. Please notice, it's a tiny house! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay for 2 adults. The Cottage

Beautifully renovated Rural cottage, Located 15 minutes from Roscommon town and 20 minutes from Castlerea. This is a cosy house, fully insulated, with central heating complemented by a solid fuel stove, with kindling, turf and firewood provided for your convenience to provide cosy evenings as the night draws to a close and you unwind for the evening. Ideally located for fishing- river Suck 10minutes away and facilities on site for preparation including locked shed.

The Herd House Cottage

Our cosy 150 year old stone cottage in the heart of Roscommon is the perfect base for exploring the countryside, or just retreating into the tranquility in the stunning natural surroundings of our farm. Due to Covid-19 it is a minimum stay of 2nights, with one night blocked before and after each reservation to ensure everyones safety. There is a wide range of fun activities to explore and see in the nearby areas for all to enjoy.
