Bear Cabin, Acadia, Downeast Maine, Lake Access

"Bear" cabin is one of four new cabins at Dickens Farms in Eastbrook Maine. Our cabins are spaced for privacy and each has its own fire pit, propane grill and picnic area. You can enjoy water access to Abrams Pond for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Two kayaks are provided per cabin for your use. . Sit in the screened in porch and listen to nature or head into Acadia National Park to explore. Bike along the private road and relax with your family for a quick getaway or week long adventure.

Rocky Brook Cottage sits perched on 3 tranquil wooded acres overlooking lovely Taunton Bay. Our secluded getaway offers two first floor bedrooms, full bath, open kitchen/living area with cathedral ceilings plus a large lofted space appointed with two twin beds. Relax on large wrap around deck as you admire the water views while enjoying the sights and sounds of a picturesque stream meandering through property en route to the cove. 270' of protected cove frontage for great swimming/kayaking.

Peace and quiet is what you’ll find, along with a gorgeous view. It’s a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, and laying on the hammock. The Schoodic National Scenic Byway is on the far side of Long Cove, and you can hear some traffic noise from outside the RV, but for complete silence check out my other two places by looking at "about me" on my profile.

Watch the lobster boats work their traps just in front of the house. Not appropriate for small children. Sorry, NO PETS.
