When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. Welcome to the Oneota Vista, a private apartment on the second floor of our house with beautiful views of the Oneota valley. Our home is located on the Trout Run bike trail (an 11-mile paved loop which winds through Decorah). It is a mile walk to downtown Decorah, and less than 2 miles from Luther College. This cozy apartment is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring, canoeing, hiking, biking, fishing, shopping, and checking out the local breweries.

We are located on 9 acres just inside the city limits of Cedar Falls. Just 1 1/2 miles west of the University of Northern Iowa Campus. We are located 10 minutes from shopping, restaurants, and more! Please book by number of people staying over in the Airbnb as the price goes up by number of people staying.

Cabin Cove By the River

Take a step back in time when you enter our little log cabin by the river. Built in 1949, this cabin is a replica of the log cabins built by the gold seekers of Alaska. Though modern in most aspects we have retained the native charm of unfinished wood, rough, hand-hewn logs and naked beams. The inspiration for the cabin was found by my great grandfather who spent time in Alaska working on the Alcan highway.
