This secluded and very quiet, 370 sq ft in home apartment, space is nestled in the trees with a territorial view to the southwest. If you have an appreciation for hand crafted details this is the place for you: hand made windows, a bed frame made from salvaged fir bleacher seats, owner designed light fixtures, and traditionally crafted woodworking details throughout. The Chestnut stays cool in the summer and cozy in the winter with its heated concrete floors. Open all twelve windows south and west and you might think you’re in a treehouse. This space is thoughtfully designed as a restful retreat after a long day of exploring or hectic day of business travel. If you like to cook, the kitchen is complete with a gas range, a full size electric oven, microwave, under counter refrigerator/ freezer, farm style sink, and all the needed utensils. The Chestnut has its own secure entrance and private patio. It is accessible by stairs only. I am here and happy to help. Perched on the hilltop above the historic business district, the Chestnut provides easy access to Fremont neighborhood and many delicious restaurants and local shops. Look for the many public art pieces nearby or walk along the gorgeous ship canal. There are plenty of food options within walking distance and a number of buses that will easily take you downtown, east to the University district, west to Ballard, and north to greater North Seattle.

Our beautiful 10x10 tiny house comes complete with water, sewer, electric, and high end features. The tiny home is located on our property but is completly private and secluded. Located in the heart of Seattle in a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to the top of Queen Anne Hill or the historic Fremont district to shops and restaurants. Full private above ground unit with sitting area and raised bath (think throne) off of the bedroom. Enter through a breakfast room where you can grab some coffee. In the summer sit outside and enjoy the garden. Note, no full kitchen. Free neighborhood parking. 3 blocks from public transit. It makes for a lovely stay.

The comfortable Cottage is conveniently located in the heart of Fremont with private parking in driveway and a fenced-in courtyard. The Cottage is within a short walking distance to downtown Fremont, Greenlake, Phinney Ridge, Woodland Park Zoo and several award winning restaurants and coffee shops. Please Note!! The spiral staircase, to access the loft more easily, is a narrow and tight fit! It is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Pet’s - We are dog friendly only

Please note: there is no full kitchen, just a kitchenette (microwave, minifridge, tea kettle, plates/silverware). To those sensitive to noise: this is a mother-in-law unit of a home (others live in the building) and it is a busy area of Seattle- you can expect to hear traffic, construction, and pedestrians.
