Ideally situated in Newton Stewart, a small market town on the banks of the River Cree, Gateway to.the Galloway forest and Dark skies. The Old School House is a listed building that’s brimming with history. This spacious, four-bedroom holiday home now features sumptuous furnishings and an 8-person hot tub overlooking the gardens. The house can accommodate up to eight adults comfortably, and is a firm favourite with hill walkers and mountain bikers because of its proximity to Galloway Forest Park

Beautiful, hideaway cottage with stunning sea views, set on the edge of a magical wood. Warm kitchen with Aga, stylish sitting room, two bedrooms and a travertine-tiled bathroom. A dedicated workspace with wifi in this secluded, fairytale house. Cruggleton Lodge is off-grid and has its electricity supplied by solar panels and a back-up generator. There is no TV and guests say that this improves their holiday. From 1 May to 30 Sept, there is a heated outdoor pool and tennis court on the estate.

Cosy 2 bedroom house with free on street parking

Our traditional late 1800s mid terrace house is close to the centre of Kirkcudbright - the beautiful artist town. It is in easy walking distance of the local attractions including the Kirkcudbright Gallery, harbour, Broughton House, castle, swimming pool, pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. The nearest beach is about 15 minutes drive away. Unlimited on street parking is available right outside the door, and a private back garden and patio has access to the local play park and caravan site.

Granite House

Located in the picturesque, wild area which follows the route of the Ken Valley on the sloping side of the Rhinns of Kells, the mountainous ridge which separates Kirkcudbrightshire from Ayrshire, Granite Cottage is on the edge of Galloway Forest Park. Beautiful scenic walking routes abound from the cottage garden which leads directly over a bridge into open fields and hills. The cottage garden looks out over fields with uninterrupted views and dark skies making it ideal for star gazing.

Carrick Shore, Coastal home private entry to beach

Spacious beach house with private enclosed garden, ample parking area with private access down to the beach. Well equipped for family life. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. TV and Wifi. Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

The Old Fish House

Everybody loves The Old Fish House! With stunning river views it is a beautiful and peaceful cottage, yet a three minute walk from the nearest shop and the harbour. It is a great and relaxing base to enjoy the culture, coastal scenery or walking around the area. The house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families and we love well behaved dogs. There is a staircase between kitchen/diner and lounge so the cottage may not be ideal for children under 4 years old.

The Stables cottage is located on a farm, 6 miles outside New Cumnock, East Ayrshire. The Cottage has one double room and one twin bedroom. A lounge, shower room and modern kitchen with breakfast bar. The cottage has a large enclosed garden to the front with driveway parking for approximately three cars. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included in the price. Children are welcome. Travel cot, highchair etc are available on request. Pets are also welcome with prior arrangement.

Netherthird is a stunning detached farmhouse set in a wonderfully elevated position, with the most glorious views of the surrounding Galloway Hills. Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.
