Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Hyggeligt sommerhus 10min gang fra stranden

Charmerende hus i Tinkerup, 3km fra Gilleleje. Der er en stor terrasse rundt om hele huset med flere hyggekroge, pergolaer, hængekøje og udendørs bruser. Det tager kun 10 min at gå til stranden. Der er kun apple tv. Sengetøj og håndklæder er gratis ved en hel uges leje, men kan lejes ved kortere ophold. Lejer står selv for slutrengøring. Rygning/dyr ikke tilladt. Kun udlejning lørdag til lørdag i uge 26-32. Ved elforbrug over 75kr pr. dag, vil der blive afregnet efter opholdet.
