This is a beautiful apartment that is 2400 square feet. It is above a tax business but has a separate entrance with a 2 car unattached garage that has one side that is available. This building is over 100 years old and still have the original charm of the century with the necessary updates for conmfort. We are excited to share this beauty with guests! Remodeled split-entry "Hilltop Hospitality House" was my childhood home. One hour from Omaha in the lovely Loess Hills, with beautiful lake and valley views, (sleeps ten). Three queen beds, one double bed, one sofa sleeper, full kitchen, two full baths, laundry, a spacious open floor plan for large groups, and a large deck overlooking my friendly hometown, this is a great space for groups and family gatherings. Nice studio apartment above the garage rents separately.

Situated on a private acreage within Whiterock Conservancy, guests can easily access 40mi+ of scenic hiking and mountain biking trails, float the nearby river, or enjoy dark sky viewing. A "rookery" is a nesting site for herons, a bird that prefers quiet, undisturbed habitat near water. And so the Rookery Cottage seeks to provide a natural escape from the daily grind.

Nestled in the middle of Coon Rapids, Iowa you will be minutes from everything you need - grocery, shopping, golf, aquatic center, local restaurants and all that Whiterock Conservancy has to offer including trails of all kinds - running, biking, horseback riding and more. Pets are not allowed on property.
