The Carriage - A first class experience

Step back in time to this restored 1950's Pullman railway carriage, with the added luxury of 21st century amenities. The Carriage is set on tracks where the original line ran through Ullock on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, with the river Marron running below. Relive a unique journey with the addition of being able to step out onto the platform for sunbathing, breakfast or your evening meal then retire to the antique king sized bed with dressing room, ensuite and Eden toiletries.

For walkers or cyclists, romantic breaks or retreats in nature; this is perfect for adventures or simply relaxing on the deck with a cup of tea heated by hydro power. Cosy all year with woodstove and kitchenette, it has all you need for a relaxing stay. With optional wood-fired hot tub in the nearby woodland, water levels allowing, for that added touch of relaxation. Walking distance from Dyfi Bike Park or the CAT.

Flying Yorkshireman railway carriage with Views

We have built this Pullman style railway carriage and sighted it over looking the old Nidd Valley railway line that runs through the farm. He’s 24ft by 9ft with shower, toilet, kitchen, heating... in fact everything you will need for a stay away. We have reclaimed many railway items including the four handles, luggage rack, lamps, signs and much more. He is authentic as he can be. Outside is a covered area overlooking wonderful Dales view, open topped wood fired hot tub, seating and table.

Wannies Retreat is in the heart of Northumberland offering a stay in a beautiful converted railway van measuring 18.5m long! We have a viewing platform to admire the amazing dark skies and a hot tub to relax in as well as secure bike storage and a drying room, after a walk or cycle ride in the lovely Northumberland countryside. The Kimberlina is a cosy, custom built, carriage located in Ravenscar, a beautiful coastal village situated on the Jurassic Coast National Park. The carriage is nestled in a field to the back of a working farm, surrounded by fantastic views and natural beauty, it is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or relaxing evening following a days walk along the Cleveland Way.
