Tranquil Tigín - your Little Holiday in Co Wicklow

Come enjoy a Little Holiday in Co. Wicklow, hide away among 70 acres of pasture, bog and native woodlands. Our Tigín - meaning 'tiny house' in Irish - was handcrafted in the west of Ireland in 2023, consciously designed and built using natural materials. Expansive windows overlook the Wicklow countryside, offering a front row seat to the passage of deer, pheasants, rabbits and other wildlife. Note - there is a 300m hike from the parking to the secluded cabin, wellies/hiking boots recommended.

STABLE COTTAGE near Glendalough is part of an original 18th cent. farm courtyard lovingly converted and winner of Irish television's "Home of the Year" 2018. Situated 6 km from Glendalough and surrounded by hiking trails it is the home of artist Patrick Walshe and his wife Rosalind. Set back from a quiet country road, 4km from the villages of Laragh and Rathdrum, 1 hr from Dublin, it is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Enjoy relaxing in the garden also. Own transport needed.

A beautiful traditional stone built barn converted into a contemporary/industrial/rustic living space with quirky touches. Located in the idyllic foothills of the Wicklow Mountains, on the Wicklow Way, it features an open plan kitchen/living/dining space, a mezzanine bedroom and a spacious wet room. An extension offers an additional boot room/rustic bathroom/loo and paved courtyard. The grounds are comprised of upper and lower lawns set on half an acre. A country pub is within walking distance.

Nestled at the edge of a tourist nature farm, by a field with beautiful oak woodland, stream and beautiful views. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Only 3 shepherds huts onsite. Also sauna and cold plunge @€30 extra. Shared bathroom is short walk. Farm includes 2 mazes, 3 farm museums, farm animals, woodland, ponds and playgrounds.

Guests can enjoy a self-serve continental breakfast, while outside, an outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ and pizza oven creates a perfect setting for dining in the fresh Wicklow air after a day exploring nearby forests, valleys, and coastline.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Set in Tidy Towns award winning Aughrim Village, Co Wicklow, 1 hr from Dublin, this charming former estate workers house, built 1893, has been redesigned sympathetically and simply decorated to create a charming get away. Accommodation: 2 double bedrooms (1 ensuite), a single bedroom, living room and kitchen and bathroom and utility space. NOTE Celings are low upstairs. We can comfortably accommodate 2 couples or a couple and up to 3 children with a pull out bed.
