Lonsdale is a spacious, comfortable, country guesthouse that provides accommodation for up to two people. The guesthouse was built in 2018 adjacent to Willowcroft cottage. Set on 3 acres a few minutes drive (2.4kms) from Grenfell’s CBD. Enjoy the garden, sunsets and maybe snuggle around the fire pit (wood extra cost) during autumn/winter. * Breakfast is NOT provided. So BYO! Tea, coffee and milk are provided. Please note that the guesthouse and surrounds are STRICTLY NON SMOKING OR VAPING.

"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Although built in 1884 Anglesey has all of the facilities that are expected in a modern home. More history available in the guest guide.

Two Self contained cottages with reverse cycle air conditioning, two bedrooms, queen bed plus double/single bunk. linen is provided, barbeque facilities and pool are available. We are happy to have pets but there are house rules for them. Positioned 6 klms from the township of Temora and also close to the Temora Aviation Museum and Temora Lake Centenary.
