Being a working small holding you are welcome to come and see our sheep, lambs and horses, you will be greeted with fresh eggs from our chicken and honey from our bees. The Hyde is fitted with modern facilities, a BBQ area, where you can sit back and relax there are wonderful walks, and local pubs.

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is Winchester's first luxury woodland hideaway, with beautiful views of Vale Farm. Within walking distance of the village with it's fantastic pub, shop, cafe, brewery and beauty salon you won't have much need to go far but it's also well situated for access to Newbury, Hungerford, Goring, Pangbourne and Henley.

Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

Explore the Ridgeway and dozens of other paths, right from the cottage door. Cozy up in front of the wood burning stove - the logs come free. The cottage is a mile from the village of Compton, with its pub and shop. It's close to the A34 and M4 for Oxford and other lovely places to visit.
