Guests enjoy the exclusive and private use of the cottage and 8 acre property on Harstine Island. Harstine Isl. State Park and Jarrell Cove State Park are a short drive away w/ access to Puget Sound. A trail meanders through the woods in the back half of the property, behind a small orchard. Relax and warm up in the hot tub under a canopy of trees. We have very fast high speed wifi internet, great for tv/movie streaming/working remotely. We are about 1 hr 45 min drive from World Cup in Seattle.

The perfect waterfront retreat on beautiful Harstine Island, with private beach access. This 1967 A-frame has been newly restored to include amenities needed for a comfortable stay while retaining the cabin’s original charm. A spacious deck offers a relaxing place to observe the sunsets over the water, and our collection of local wildlife, including eagles, great blue herons, otters and seals. The pebble beach is easily accessed by stepping stones leading down a gentle slope to the water.

Come relax at Shadie Pines! You can sit back and enjoy the view of Puget Sound and Mount Rainier from the deck (or from in the hot tub!), listen to the birds sing and the seals barking, and say hello to the friendly neighborhood deer. The house is comfortably situated in the middle of the Hartstene Pointe gated community, which has a number of great amenities for you to enjoy. Our favorite features are the 5 miles of walking trails and beaches all around the point, the pool and pickleball!

To help you experience the extraordinary natural setting we provide two kayaks, bikes and paddle boards. Enveloped in towering old growth trees this romantic getaway is built for a peaceful retreat or adventure. Walk along the beautiful sandy beaches and miles of wooden trails. Just a 3-minute walk to the beach. Other amenities - outdoor heated pool and tennis courts at the Clubhouse.

Enjoy nature and serenity on Harstine Island within the gated Harstene Pointe Community. With tasteful, minimal furnishings, this cabin is the perfect retreat for couples and families. With a pristine, beautiful beach less than half a mile away, and pool and hot tub access (late May through early Sept.), you're sure to find plenty to do (or not do) during your stay! Island life awaits! *Please note this is a residential community and not a resort. No concierge services available on site.

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. Right on the water with use of kayaks, paddle boards, & canoe. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs - $50 each.

Barbary Cottage, a cabin retreat in the woods

A hidden paradise located at The Pointe, on Hartstene Island. This gated community is located 30 minutes outside of Shelton on the North tip of the island. There is something for everyone in the family with a community pool and hot tub (OPEN SUMMER MONTHS ONLY), club house/community center, billiard & ping pong tables, basketball/pickle ball/tennis courts, kids play structures, cooking facilities/barbeques at the beach, 3.5 miles of private beaches and 5 miles of walking trails.

This cozy cabin is nestled in the woods, yet just a five minute walk down a campground like road to a private community beach. This fully remodeled and refreshed cabin is located within a gated community that offers a very peaceful, remote setting. You'll have access to adult and kid bikes, scooters, kayaks, kids books, games and several community amenities. Community amenities include a seasonal pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day) , tennis courts, pickleball courts and clubhouse.

Welcome to my beautiful home on a 5 acre wooded property that's perfect for one person or a couple on Harstine Island. Big kitchen, dining area, queen bed with cozy linens, full sized bathroom, towels, toiletries, writing desks, books, TV, WiFi, games. Relax with a view of the forest, birds and wildlife. Front and back decks with patio sets. Walk in the woods or the two waterfront parks on the island. Basic breakfast, coffee, tea, snacks, condiments and spices are provided.

Harstine Island Beach House

Take a break, unplug and shift to island time. Snuggled in the forest with peek-a-boo water views, our 2 bed/1 bath family vacation home is comfortable for 4 adults. Five miles of walking trails are outside the door with multiple points of beach access, picnic areas, marina, pickleball and tennis courts, clubhouse and a seasonal pool + hot tub (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Don't worry about ferry wait times, there is bridge access to Harstine Island.
