The East Cabin is quietly tucked between the Green Mountains of VT and the Adirondacks of NY. Soak up the morning sun on your private stone patio while mother nature comes to life on the pond and fields. Take a day trip to beautiful Lake George or Historic Saratoga Springs. Grill steaks on the BBQ and eat S’mores by the campfire at night. Farm fresh products for purchase at our farm store, including our own pasture raised beef. We also have the West Cabin available for your family and friends.

This cabin retreat is situated on a natural clearing in the beautiful Green Mt. Forrest. Surrounded by a dense grove of spruce trees gives you complete privacy. It's only a quick 5 minute drive to great restaurants, breweries, and shops in downtown Wilmington. It's also less than 20 minutes to Mt. Snow. There's great hiking at Molly Stark State Park right across the street and amazing lakes all within a 10 minute drive! No WIFI and cell service is not great so it is a great place to unplug!

Welcome to Trekker in Lake George, New York at the base of the Adirondack Park. When staying at our unique resort you will not only experience and see many different types of rentals like treehouses, yurts, earth homes, and cabins but you can explore our wildflower fields, play with our goats and chickens, and observe our honeybee hives. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. A beautifully restored schoolhouse circa 1860 welcomes you. Situated on a quiet country road this adorable home on one wooded acre has lovely mountain views and a peaceful setting. Nearby you will find skiing, hiking trails and quaint Vermont towns with shops and restaurants. Manchester and Rutland are 30 min. drives, Dorset is just 20 min. Granville NY has a large grocery store and other shops and is only a 15 min. drive.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Walking distance to Salem Central, Fort Salem Theater, the Historic Salem Courthouse, Jacko's, Salem Art Work, On a Limb Bakery, and less than an hour to vermont sking. Come stay in our secure 2-room suite plus bathroom with a separate entrance uniquely filled with local art and antiques. Includes cube-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave for use.

The Smithy Cottage at Consider Bardwell Farm

The historic “Smithy" at Consider Bardwell Farm is the original building used for blacksmithing by Consider Bardwell, himself, in the 1800s. Complete with brand-new, architect-designed kitchen and bathroom, wood-burning fireplace, and stone patio for outdoor grilling and dining, the Smithy is beautiful inside and out. Enjoy meeting our goats and all the local goodies and products that we can stock in your cottage.
