Experience a nostalgic Showa-era Japanese home in Kyoto Yawata. Stay in a traditional house with tatami rooms, sliding doors, and a unique retro atmosphere rarely found today. Enjoy a peaceful local neighborhood with easy access to Kyoto and Osaka. This is a traditional Japanese house built in 1976 and has not been fully renovated. You may notice some signs of age, which are part of the charm and character of a Showa-era home. Please note that we provide traditional Japanese futon bedding (not Western-style beds). The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
