Guests have 24/7 access to the host, when necessary, as I live in the detached main house.

Snowmobile trails are only 1/3rd of a mile away and you can ride your sled from here. Enjoy spectacular views of the lake, kayaking, and campfires on the patio. Our area is full of history and charm. Come visit! Parking for 3 trucks, plus trailers. Please Note: We charge $10 per night per person over 2 people.

Kerban's Overlook

Nice, clean apartment just 5 minutes from Michigan Tech and a view of Portage Lake (lake access too!). One stall of garage parking available so you can go right from car to apartment without dealing with the snow. The driveway is plowed. Wifi, heat, keurig coffee selection included. Washer and dryer are in the spacious bathroom with a shower. Full kitchen and electric fireplace. Stairlift from garage. Queen sized bed with additional pullout couch (about full sz) and toddler bed.

Otter House

Otter House is a beautifully appointed log cabin in the trees overlooking Otter Lake. It is comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The lakefront has a small beach, 3 kayaks, a canoe, hammocks and a fire pit. Otter Lake is a tranquil spot with great fishing and very little boat traffic. Canoe up the Otter River or Kayak down to the dam. You will see eagles, beavers, turtles, loons, geese and if you're lucky an otter. There is a parking pad for your RV or trailer.

Quiet setting in Downtown Houghton within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, recreation, waterfront trail and much more! Within minutes of Mont Ripley, Michigan Tech University and within 1 hour of Mount Bohemia and Copper Harbor. The view of the Portage Canal and Lift Bridge says it all about this location. This studio space is all fresh and new, located in west Hancock. Parking is easily accessible with a ground floor entryway. Downtown Hancock and Houghton are just minutes away. Located near the Hancock beach. If you aren't a camper but enjoy the day activities come and stay with all the luxuries of home. Studio size kitchen and a king size bed. We just added a heater/ air conditioner that is adjustable by the guest. The feedback has been great!

"Copper Trails" Lovely Private Rental Unit

Easy access one bedroom unit in Dollar Bay. Right on the snowmobile trail, and convenient for all of the Copper Country’s activities: snowmobiling, skiing, biking, touring historical sites, Michigan Tech, etc. Entire upstairs of a detached garage. Private entrance. Well insulated for sound and comfort. Only 3 1/2 miles to Houghton/Hancock, and close to the airport. Trailer parking available. Crib and high chair available upon request.
