Good walking and cycling right from the door, and great places to visit within a short drive. Located near to a main road, it's easy to travel in to Forest or City of Gloucester

The wooden cabin, Haven on the Hill has been hand built on an elevated platform with views looking over the Forest of Dean. A private and secluded dwelling situated in our grounds near our home. With good pubs and walks nearby this cabin is perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Full electrics, bathroom with shower, cooking facilities including a wood fired pizza oven. Easy access parking,a donkey & a sheep to keep you company! Pets welcome with plenty of long walks.

The Granary stylish,rural, countryside cottage

The Granary is a detached, self catering stone built character countryside / rural cottage, believed to be over 300 years old. It is converted from a former dairy and grain store, and retains many original features which gives this spacious king size sleigh bedded cottage a romantic feel. It is surrounded by countryside and woodland and indeed the Gloucestershire Way runs right by the door as well as the Wysis Way and there are many Forest countryside walks available directly from the cottage.

It is perfectly situated to enjoy what the picturesque local area has to offer. The local shops, restaurants, and attractions are only a five-minute drive away.

A two-minute walk to the famous Kingsholm rugby stadium and food shops, ten minutes to city centre, bus and train stations, cathedral, Quays shopping outlet, restaurants and historic docks. Boasting old floorboards, original beams and quirky features, this historical semi-detached cottage allows guests to switch off from the outside world. The location benefits from easy access to countryside walks but it's also just a few minutes walk from charming shops, cafés and country pubs. Our first guests used the space as an escape to write their scripts and novels and we encourage all guests to relish in the romance of village living and explore their creativity.

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, this cosy getaway is a professionally converted and exquisitely decorated annex to our main property. This conversion was completed in 2022. PLEASE NOTE... You are welcome to use the woodburner during the summer months (May - Sept inclusive) but I do not supply firewood during this period. Please bring your own supplies of firelighters, kindling and logs if you would like an inside fire during the summer.
