Our backyard offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of Wodonga. The bungalow is cosy with its own bathroom and private courtyard where you can either hide from the world or use it as a base to explore the region. The enclosed backyard is safe for pets and small children. Please note that our place is popular with pet owners, and although I clean thoroughly, some guests have complained about a general smell of dogs. If you are sensitive to this, you may want to consider booking elsewhere.

Conveniently located beside the Albury Base Hospital and Regional Cancer Centre you will find Sunnyside. Just moments from Central Albury, with the airport 2 km away, Sunnyside offers you a quiet, clean place to relax during both short and longer stays. A quick 4 minute walk away, you will find local amenities including a supermarket, chemist, newsagent and butcher, a pub and restaurants serving delicious meals. Lauren Jackson Sports Centre and Alexandra Parks are both walking distance.

The cottage is self-contained and includes a queen bedroom opening to a private deck with barbecue overlooking our Open Gardens Victoria-listed garden. Downstairs is a sitting room, opening to a garden terrace, a separate kitchen with induction cooktop and bathroom. Beechworth, a historic, 19C, gold-era town, is 4km away.

Wark Cottage (circa 1895) named after the original owner William Frederick Wark, has been meticulously restored to modern day standards while retaining its worker cottage roots. Original features throughout complete with pressed tin finishes, hardwood floors and working fireplace. Wark Cottage draws you back in time and creates a tranquil and relaxing place to locate yourself while visiting Chiltern and surrounds.

Within walking distance to Albury CBD and is surrounded by wonderful shops & cafes in the South Albury precinct. Mister Browns 2 bedroom cottage next door is also available, and is more suitable for families.
