Located directly on the seafront, the newly renovated fisherman’s cottage has stunning, uninterrupted views over the North Sea. Ideal for quiet getaways, Writer’s Retreat is the perfect spot to slow down & relax. Enjoy beautiful sea views from the open plan kitchen area, or cosy up infront of the logburning fire in our living area. Explore local seaside towns, with shops, pubs & local amenities on the doorstep.

The property is double glazed with underfloor heating throughout. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other is a king size. There’s 1 bathroom with a bath & overhead shower. Also a living room / kitchen with cooker, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, & tv. It has a convertible sofa chair / bed which can be used for a 5th guest. All bedding, towels & a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits & toiletries come as standard. There’s free WiFi throughout & parking outside.

Crovie sits at the bottom of a cliff on the Moray Firth coast, and is one of the best preserved fishing villages in Scotland. No.30 sits midway along the village overlooking the pier and the sea. Comfortable living room with box bed for lazy reading, open fire for cozy evenings and extendable dining table for meals overlooking the sea. The well equipped kitchen also has a breakfast table. Crovie Cottage, Crovie , Aberdeenshire

The cottage looks like a traditional fisherman's cottage, painted white with red shutters and a red door, but walk through the heavy wooden door and you enter a modern, white interior full of light and surprisingly spacious. The cottage sits right on the margin of the North Sea with only a sea wall and its Bankhead above the stoney beach. The space is open plan as are the sleeping spaces upstairs . It's a peaceful comfortable place to be .
