Riverwood Hideaway

This OFF-GRID, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER and LIMITED ELECTRICITY. WE DO HAVE WI-FI. The kitchen has a propane refrigerator and gas oven/stove. Solar power is used for lights and some outlets. Propane fireplace / furnace for heat. The "bathroom" is an outhouse. You bring jugs of drinking water. Hand and dish wash water provided. We supply coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices and firewood.

The Timberjack

Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

There is direct ATV trail access from your cabin but we ask that you do not ride around the property.
