Forest Floor Guesthouse

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

Our guest house is 1,000 sq. ft private unit with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. The property is located near Campbell Lake, 5 minutes away from Campbell Creek trail and from Kincaid Park. We are 8 minutes away from Anchorage International Airport, close to nature, trails, and wildlife. We hope to be your connection to the best local restaurants and shopping, art and music, fun and adventures. Our goal is to help you experience Anchorage and Alaska in the best possible way!

Relax in a 6 person hot tub after Alaska fun with a cozy cabin that meets all your travel needs. **MUST HAVE AWD/4WD in winter.** Due to spiral staircase, it is HIGHLY recommended to not book if you have mobility issues.

Their children may play in the basement below, and there is potential they may be heard.

The upper level has an additional bedroom with full size bed, & a sitting loft overlooking the main level. Occasional airplane noise. Located minutes from the airport, lakes, the coastal trail & beach, fishing, Kincaid park, restaurants, shops and entertainment! Self Check in/out for this private upstairs home. Shared entry is accessed by keypad; private unit is lockable. Space includes a queen sized pillow-top bed, futon, dining and living area, smart TV and full kitchen. Kitchen has a gas stove, oven, coffee maker, blender, toaster, fridge and microwave. Beautiful walk in shower with a rain showerhead.

It is centrally located and it’s also near Kincaid Park, all shopping centers, and minutes away from downtown Anchorage.
