The cabin was originally built as a one room hunting cabin with knotty pine walls, wood ceiling and large stone fireplace. The addition of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry converted the cabin into a comfortable home, while maintaining the original charm and character. The original hunting cabin space is now the great room, with the kitchen on one side and the family room on the other.

While it is not an actual tree house, it is a carriage house surrounded by trees on most sides. Right in the heart of downtown historic Jim Thorpe this home, built in 1896 sleeps up to 6 people. The home has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room. The second floor includes a formal sitting room with large windows overlooking the town's main street, one bedroom has a queen sized bed There is a large bathroom with a modern walk in shower. The third floor where you will find two additional bedrooms with full sized beds.
