Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

For those who delight a bright flexible space where they can do everything, from spending a relaxing weekend with the family, to hosting a girls trip to hit up sights in downtown Fort Worth that is only 20min away!

Our thoughtfully designed 4,000 sqft space was made to accommodate 2-3 families, with 2 of the 7 bedrooms being adjoining kid rooms with access through the main bedrooms. We have swimming pool access, dedicated work-study spaces, a modern large kitchen, and lots of fun different nooks to explore. We are 15mins from Alvarado lake for some of the finest fishing and just 50mins from DFW Airport

Private cottage, many clearings in the woods suitable for tent camping of children while adults enjoy the cottage! Within an hour of Fort Worth yet remote enough to still see the Milky Way at night. Bring your telescope! Owners grass airstrip under renovation but inquire about using the neighbors.

The house is near to a golf course at Kirtley park and we have golf clubs available for our guests. Across the street there is a lake and our guests can use the canoes and kayaks we have at the house.
