The Hideaway - a cosy calm oasis

A cosy, calm oasis set in a spacious garden of fruit trees. This sun filled pad is the perfect base to relax in, or from which to explore Whanganui. The Hideaway is part of the owner’s art studio complex with its own deck. Guests will be greeted by med sized dog! Only 5km from town, facilities include dbl bed, smart TV, fridge, m-wave, toaster, hotplate, washing machine, clothes rack. Tea, coffee, herbal teas and light breakfast provided. Off street parking in drive. Some pets ok if arranged.

Whanganui Awa became the first waterway in the world to get legal personhood, in 2017. Staying next to her in "The Braeburn" is a rare opportunity to come inside this often admired building. On the second floor in the main wing with a huge exclusive NON SMOKING balcony, is your truly blissful escape. Come watch the sunsets, and pour yourself a drink. Slow down, relax and enjoy. The apartment has a kitchenette, queen bed with a quality new mattress and linen, TV and clawfoot bath. No shower.

The Tiny Escape

Unwind from the demands of daily life & reconnect with nature! Surrounded by natives & nestled upon the hillside with expansive views overlooking our farm & the Valley below, this is a space to sit back & enjoy. Our Tiny House is off grid. It has double glazing, a mini fireplace, toilet with vanity in add-on bathroom off the deck, large porch area for dining and 2 outdoor baths for soaking in the views. Dogs allowed but outside only, a kennel is available Welcome to your Tiny Escape!

Moomaa Stay

This beautiful renovated home features 4 bedrooms sleeping 9 people with an ensuite, family bathroom (with new bath), and an additional hut outside- sleeping a further 3 people. We have a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ for outdoor entertaining and fireplace inside for when it's colder. Sunset Beach House

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space, with amazing views of the sunset. Fully renovated in 2020 Cook a delicious meal in the well equipped kitchen, then dine on your choice of decks to soak up the rural or sea views. Just a 7 minute walk to the popular Castlecliff beach for a swim or take a stroll along the black sandy beach, call into the Citadel for a meal or drink on the way home. Ohakune is an hours drive to enjoy the great walks or skiing. 4 square and laundromat close by

Cozy guest residence

Enjoy this peaceful and cosy well-located space, with access to the beautiful Virginia Lake , quaint guest residence with queen bed & ensuite. Tea and coffee station , with microwave / toaster and mini fridge, heat pump provides instant heat, Smart TV’s x2. Our cosy guest house is located next to the main dwelling by, linked by beautiful decking. We have sectioned a part of the deck off for our guests to enjoy while they are here. The guesthouse is situated well back from the road.

The Crib

Comfortable, semi-rural, within 4 minutes of town. Situated on a 3 acre block, this Airbnb is completely separate and offers privacy and convenience. It comes with a well equipped kitchen and breakfast is included. There is a smart Tv and Wifi. There is a locked garage available for storage of items such as bikes or small water craft. There is heaps of parking for trailers etc. Wake up and listen to the bird song - we hope you will love this place as much as we do!

The Red Barn - Rural but close to town.

The Red Barn provides a rural retreat, a quick 7-minute drive to vibrant Whanganui city. Local café and brewery down the road and close to the Windermere Berry Farm. A self-contained cottage set privately in the grounds of our property offering options for whatever break away you are looking for. Sit and relax outside in the sun, or stoke up the fire and chill out, or grab your bike and explore the country roads. Dedicated EV charger, type 2. Secure storage for bikes.

Tuparipari Riverbank Retreat

Tuparipari Riverbank Retreat is perched on the banks of the Whanganui River amongst native trees and in a loved bird garden adorned with garden art. This retro studio apartment is complete with an en suite, kitchenette & private entrance. Your alternative entrance is via spiral stairway leads up to your laundry and a second toilet. This is a great retreat for couples, solo adventurers, or business travellers. The wifi is very fast (Gigabyte speed) and is unlimited.

A beautifully presented TWO bedroom apartment in central Whanganui, close to shops and restaurants. Situated in the iconic Old Central Fire Station building that's been recently renovated adding another bedroom and other changes include the double glazed windows. There’s a large living/dining room with a kitchenette, a good-sized bathroom, one bedroom with queen bed and one with 2 single beds.
