The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

京都東山の町屋でのんびりと過ごすプランはいかがですか？ 四条通りを八坂神社に向かって進み、路地を進むと、ご案内させて頂く宿泊施設があります。 その辺りは古い町屋が並んだ静かな街区です。 近くには六波羅蜜寺、東に坂道を歩くと八坂さんや清水寺が、また西に歩けば５分程で舞妓さんの出入りある宮川町があります。ご案内の町屋は京都独特の奥に細長い建物です。 屋内は間接照明を要所に生かし、クラシックな趣きを与えています。 広めのキッチンは冷蔵庫、電子オーブンレンジ、IHコンロ、湯沸かしポット、そしてフライパン、鍋、食器、カトラリー類がひと通り揃っています。 洗濯乾燥機も設置しています。 和座敷には小さな庭が見える雪見窓の付いた障子は、雰囲気を一層醸し出しています。 奥の突き当たりには自慢の檜風呂があります。 お湯を満たして小窓から見える小庭を眺めていると檜の香りを味わいながら京都にいる実感が湧いてきます。 2階はツインベッドルームを挟んで二つの和室があります。 夜は車の音も少なくゆっくりと眠る事ができます。 街中のホテルとは違う環境での数日間はきっと素晴らしい旅の思い出となるでしょう。

This house was built 100 years ago and has been renovated to preserve its original charm. The house has been designed with old furniture and modern electronics included floor heating system. We welcome you and support your travel in Kyoto. *This Shimoza-an is the lower unit of a two-story machiya townhouse. Although the second floor unit may be occupied by other guests, both units are private and have separate entrances. Booking both Shimoza-an and Kamiza-an accommodates up to 10 guests.

A Japanese traditional house CHANOMI located in the heart of Kyoto. Measuring a spacious 58㎡. CHANOMI was built in 1919, but spacious and comfortable. We have GOEMON-BURO(bath tub) next to shower room. Please try searching "GOEMON-BURO" !! Guests can enjoy your garden while enter the GOEMON-BURO. 2 minutes to Sijo-Dori(downtown) on foot, guests can enjoy shopping and access to public transportations soon.

Machiya Bukkoji is a traditional Japanese Machiya style house with decades of history.
