Located in the woods, watch the river flow by from any window, the porch or walk the trails. The main room has a leather loveseat, rocking chair and propane fireplace. The loft has a queen mattress. BBQ with side burner and all kitchen appliances are there. There is an outhouse. No shower. Wifi available on the property. Kayaks are accessed at The Nest which is the 2nd cabin (that you can't see). Firewood available for free. Incredible night skies. Space and privacy. A soul restoring getaway.

Could be earlier depending on the weather. Also the City of Kawartha Lakes has a NO BONFIRE ban during April each year. So please do not do a BONFIRE.

2 bedroom cedar log cottage on over 300 beautiful acres. Very private. Many walking trails to explore and enjoy. Lovely deck on the cottage and a great dock at the lake. Canoe, pedal boat, and swimming raft. All just a 2 hour drive from Toronto. We have another property at the opposite end of the private lake - all of the same wonderful outdoor activities but this time based out of a stunning log house. Stay off-grid in an Amish built bunkie on top of a hill with the best south facing view in the area! Disconnect from your busy life and enjoy the country side. There is no wifi but cellular reception is good depending on your provider. There is an outhouse with compost toilet near the bunkie. There is no shower or sink. Enjoy the country and let nature do that talking! Pets are very welcome! Enjoy the trails and walk your dog(s) off leash.
