Cliff-top Coastguard's Cottage, an Off-Grid Escape

The Coastguard Cottages at Weybourne are perched on the cliff-top on the Norfolk Coast Path, with uninterrupted views of the surrounding fields and sea. The terrace was built in 1904 and to this day has no mains electricity, reflecting the handsome, solid utility of their original purpose. We have owned number 4 for over 20 years and have always delighted in escaping off-grid. We love the house, the views, swimming in the sea and letting our children run beyond calling distance. (dog heaven)

The Coach House is a lovely, self-contained cottage located within the grounds of our farmhouse. It is a very short walk away from Weybourne beach, The Ship Inn, The Maltings hotel and our village cafe and shop. Close by is the beautiful Georgian town of Holt, the coastal town of Sheringham and Sheringham Park. We are located just off the North Norfolk coast road, very convenient for Blakeney, Cromer, Holkham and Wells Next the Sea. For a holiday to North Norfolk this is the perfect location!

Thursford, which hosts the Christmas Spectacular is 7 miles from Holt.

Kelling Heath is close to great beaches. Only 5 min from Weybourne which is great for exploring. Only a 10 min drive to Sherringham & 15 mins from Cromer. The site itself has bike trails, bike hire, walks, parks, shop, restaurant, bar, evening entertainment and street food vans in the busy months. It also has 2 pools and a gym, (used for an extra fee). It also has a fishing pond, steam railway and stargazing viewpoints. NB: PILLOWS, DUVETS & TOWELS NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY.
