Tack Barn is our super stylish and sustainable holiday cottage here at Upper Lodge near Lewes - a very special place to stay. Tucked into a private woodland overlooking the pond and countryside, we've kitted it out with products and art from local makers. Ideally located for Lewes, the iconic Seven Sisters Cliffs and South Downs. Hop into the hammock and sit by a glowing fire-pit in the summer, or snuggle up in front of the wood-burner in the winter - the Tack Barn is special all year round.

The South Stable is a unique, recently redecorated stable with a little bit of Morden rustic country living thrown in. A beautiful renovation with wool carpets, handmade kitchen and top-end appliances, its scrumptious dark green bathroom with walk-in shower, roll-top bath and plaster walls. Twitchers Cottage at Broomfield Barn is a beautifully presented converted in 2020, one bedroom cottage. Located on the edge of Oare marshes that is an important wetland reserve with a range of bird species. This area is popular with bird watches, walkers, wildlife photographers and cyclists or anyone who wants a relaxing break away surrounded by open countryside. There is plenty to do throughout the year wether you want coast, town or countryside it’s all in easy reach for your enjoyment.

Charming romantic hideaway close to Canterbury

The Times featured us! Sappington Granary is a secluded, romantic hideaway in pretty Kent countryside. This 200yr-old wooden farm building has been updated, but retains its unusual charm. Delightfully & individually decorated, it is one of a kind. Inside it is snug & romantic. Perfect for little breaks, peacefully isolated but still close to Canterbury and beaches. Walk in nearby woods, the local valleys or even (if very energetic) to the pub, it is the perfect couples' break.

Beautiful bolthole near the White Cliffs of Dover

Located 5 minutes walk away from the White Cliffs of Dover, the granary is a converted timber frame building set in the garden of a 16th century Kentish farmhouse and 1 km away from the beautiful seaside village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe. Featuring exposed beams, wattle and daub walls and many original features including staddlestones and a handcrafted spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine sleeping area, the granary has a lovely feel and is very light, warm and cosy.

Situated in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on a sheep farm of 23 acres (which you are free to roam), this is a real get-away-from-it-all location. One of the most peaceful and relaxing places you will ever stay. With underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove you will be cosy whatever the weather.

The Oast Cottage: Private Annex with own entrance.

We are pleased to offer our refurbished annex with double bedroom, private bathroom, own front door and a private field for dogs. Oast Cottage is a converted stables attached to the main Oast House. The Oast is set in a conservation area of Boughton Monchelsea which consists of converted farm buildings, listed houses and a 16th Century pub (directly opposite). The area boasts many places to visit (including Leeds Castle), countryside walks, as well as numerous pubs.

The barn is in the grounds of our 15th century house but nicely private. It’s decorated in modern rustic style, with underfloor heating and a wood burner. Outside is a fire pit for toasting marshmallows and stargazing before climbing into the king-size bed, dressed with soft Egyptian cotton. There's a walk-in rain shower and robes, books, DVDs, games, WiFi and a Smart TV. Tear yourself away to explore forests, gardens, vineyards, castles, and National Trust houses.

If you're searching for a quintessential country cottage with modern luxury trappings, then The Old Piggery is perfect. A warm and inviting bijou space, the property sleeps two but still feels roomy with a mix of rustic, modern and mid century furniture.
