The Byre is old English for 'the barn'. Our hand-built cabin comfortably sleeps two in an open concept main floor bedroom. Floor to ceiling windows allow you to enjoy field, orchard and pasture views! You'll also enjoy an indoor fireplace to keep you cozy in the colder months and an outdoor campfire to roast marshmallows on summer nights! The kitchen is well suited for light cooking. 1920’s Original Kintail Beach Cottage

This was the first cottage on Kintail Beach built in approximately 1920 of cedar shiplap. It has been recently renovated and furnished but retains its rustic appeal. Enjoy beautiful views of Lake Huron from the screened in porch, have a BBQ, or relax on the beach! The beach is approximately 50 steps down a gravel path from the cottage. With the close proximity to the lake you can hear the waves from inside. We look forward to hosting you! -Nadine and Andrew
