Beautiful semi-detached barn conversion professionally designed to a high standard, offering modern comforts whilst retaining an authentic feel. Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ballincard House! Take a step back in time and enjoy the charm of your private apartment located on the second floor of our 19th Century Georgian home. If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. We charge €25 for hottub or sauna for one use. 2 person per cabin only.

Silver Bloom Cabin – Nature, pubs, trails & charm

Take it easy at this quiet, cosy getaway. Silver Bloom Cabin is a small, peaceful space at the back of our terrace cottage in Kinnitty, surrounded by fields. You can walk or cycle straight from the cabin into the Slieve Bloom Mountains, or take the forest trail to Kinnitty Castle, or even head down to the village for a nice coffee or a visit to local pub. It’s also a handy stopover for travellers exploring the centre of Ireland, or those attending weddings in Birr, Kinnitty, or Tullamore

Nestled within the Slieve Bloom mountains, Lacka Lodge is new to the market and has recently undergone complete refurbishment. It is situated on the grounds of our family home where peace and tranquility come naturally to this area.Kinnitty is in the heart of Ireland and is little over an hour from Dublin and Galway. It is a day trip from all other cities. Locally you can enjoy fantastic walking and mountain bike trails which are only one minute away and also lead you to Kinnitty Castle.
