Comfortably sleeping four (plus infant), in two double bedrooms, one with ensuite cloakroom, the house has a kitchen/dining/living space, cosy living room and spacious garden, with very little light pollution, ideal for star gazing. Ample parking Perfect for exploring the wildlife of the Solway Coast, Carlisle, Scotland, and the Lake District which is an easy 30min drive.

To the first floor there is a feature stone wall leading to the bathroom and bedrooms. Sleeps up to five persons in two bedrooms (one king sized bed and one triple bunk bed).

A cosy annexe just off the Hadrian's Wall path in Stanwix, Carlisle. You may wish to use nearby eateries or make yourself something in the kitchenette (small airfryer, microwave, fridge, hotplate, kettle and toaster provided) we welcome those who wish for a place to stay. A double bed and en suite shower awaits in fresh comfortable surroundings. Open to all but please be aware of access arrangements to the property -access up a lane. Free on street parking is available nearby (100m approx).

The Hide Lodge is a stylish space, designed with relaxing and retreating in mind. It is cosy and warm with underfloor heating. The open plan lounge and living area has full width bi-fold doors, which allows the space to be fully opened up to feel like part of the woodland beyond. The main bedroom boasts sliding french doors, also overlooking the woodland and stream, with a bath placed to enjoy this view. There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

Rockcliffe's village pub, the Crown & Thistle offers a traditional Cumbrian welcome with excellent local food. The village is on the Reivers cycle route
