Stable Studio at Airlie Castle

A bright and comfortable open-plan space on the first floor of the old stable block on the Airlie estate, in the spectacular Angus Glens. High beamed ceilings give a spacious feel to the main room. Everything here is made from Douglas Fir ply, including walls, floor and furniture. It'll feel very cosy here at night with the lamps lit, the wood fire and the large bed with feather pillows and wool blankets. The loo and bathroom are down 4 steps, please note no dividing door. Minimum stay 1 night.

The Cairn @ North Lodge, Rural Guest Suite

Tastefully furnished, this one-bedroom hideaway offers a base from which to explore the Angus coast, glens and Southern Cairngorms and is just seven miles away from Glamis Castle. The Cairn has a comfortable lounge, well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet, an enclosed garden with field views and easy access to adjacent woodland.

The outstanding sandy east coast beaches take just 40 minutes to reach by car with the majestic Angus Glens 20 minutes. 5* quirky 17th century cottage in the heart of Pittenweem. Ama St Andrews, the home of golf is just 17 minutes away by car . Pittenweem boasts the last working fishing harbour in the East Neuk with it's famous 117 mile long coastal path passing right through the village . Dog friendly restaurants , cafes, pubs and art galleries all on our doorstep. Lovely long beaches in St Andrews and Elie only short drive away. The Fife 117 mile long coastal path goes past the bottom of our Wynd .

Shops and eating places are a short walk away and there are many historic attractions to visit in rural Angus. A twenty minute drive takes you into the Angus glens which boast some of the best walking and climbing destinations in Scotland. Dundee is half-an-hour's drive south and Aberdeen an hour's drive northwards.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, the property has recently been refurbished and is light, bright and welcoming.Accessed by two steps,internally the house is all on one level, with a deck leading out from the living room to the front, which faces west giving views of wonderful skies and sunsets. Guests are welcome to use any of the herbs growing in the enclosed rear garden. Although bordered by a road at the rear, any slight noise from the light traffic is muffled by a fence and trees.
